Bulgarian Association for Educational Measurement and Evaluation

Goals and object of the activities                      

Goals od the Association

1. Development and application of measurement and assessment methods in Bulgarian educational system as well as a statistical processing of the obtained data;

2. Cooperation in implementation and application of development products for the needs of the educational evaluation at any level in Bulgaria;

3. Investigation of the processes influencing the scientific and applied aspects of the educational measurement and evaluation in Bulgaria, including teaching aspects;

4. Publicizing the experience of the Association;

5. Deliver training in educational measurement and evaluation;

6. Protection of the economic, social and professional interests of people working in educational measurement and evaluation;

7. Maintaining the relations, interactions and professional interests among the members of the Association and coordination of their activities;

8. Protection of the rights and interests of the Association members before the state authorities, civil organizations, and other legal and physical persons;

9. Development and submission of proposals to the competent agencies related to fundamental problems of educational measurement and evaluation;

10. Ensuring representation in research councils and bodies authorized to confirm research and academic degrees;

11. Development of a databases and information systems;

12. Stimulating and supporting the participation of the Association members in national and international events;

13. Initiating and maintaining contacts with Bulgarian and international organizations.

 

Object of the activities

· development, management and financing of project and programs of the Association;

· participation in national and international projects and programs; 

· organization and cooperation for carrying out regional, national and international scientific applied educational events;

· organization of permanently functioning seminars, lectures and other forms for exchange and dissemination of information on educational measurement and evaluation;

· initiating and maintaining contacts and cooperation with government and non-government organizations related to educational measurement and evaluation;

· conducting scientific and applied discussions on novelties in the educational research and evaluation;

· organization of educational courses for educational measurement and evaluation practitioners;

· consultations an other activities for protection of economic, social and professional interests of the people working in the field of educational measurement and evaluation;

· proposals for members of scientific councils and bodies for confirming research and academic degrees;

· organization of expert groups in the areas of expertise  of the Association;

· confirming awards and distinctions and proposals for governmental and state award and distinctions;

· awarding grants to members of the Association for implementation of creative works.
